Clothe A Child is a completely volunteer program. The Golf Committee does an amazing job each and every year making sure the golfers have fun and spend money! There’s also the gift crew that shops for toys and a wrapping crew that gets them all ready for Santa to pass out after the big shopping trip to Wal Mart. And let’s not forget the longtime breakfast crew who arrive at the Lodge at 5:00 am on shopping day to prepare a beautiful hot breakfast. This year, the shopping crew is critical. We’re taking 140 kids shopping over two days.
And we need help.
Each family needs an Elk to help them through the shopping trip. No experience necessary. You’ll be trained on the spot. If ever there was a moment to volunteer, this is it. Annie Reed needs shoppers at the New Albany Wal Mart on Saturdays December 5, and 12 starting at 7am. John Deaver and his cooking crew can always use some extra helping hands.
